Logistics Manager RDC EMEA will be accountable to ensure our EMEA warehouse, run by a 3PL, is operated according to our defined SLA’s and rates. Meaning performance of logistics operations (shipping plans, routes, E-Com operations, transport performance), continuous improvement opportunity identification, reporting (cost, performance) and communication with 3rd party services provider, as well as monitoring and supporting import / export compliance.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Ensure all logistics activities in the RDC EMEA for warehousing and after sales are on time, meeting cost targets and defined service levels
2. Initiate, implement and operate continuous improvement projects (CIP) in alignment with stakeholders
3. Facilitate a compliant execution of defined customs clearance processes
4. Ensure correct storage of materials and the availability of goods as well as the timely and competent development of technologies and capacities
5. Coordinate and follow up on Swarovski requirements such as inventory count, Quality checks, etc.
6. Collaborate with 3rd party service provider and other Supply Chain departments to ensure best in class results in daily business
7. Create the needed environment and ensure best in class daily operations for new services i.e. returns, reverse logistics
8. Support contract negotiation process for warehousing contract. Perform warehouse invoice validations
9. Maintain appropriate, detailed process documentation and scope of work and ensure it is updated regularly and distributed to relevant parties
About you
We are looking for a unique and amazing talent, who brings along the following:
10. University degree/ Education in the relevant field
11. Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a similar role within an international setting
12. Excellent English and Dutch proficiency, presentation and communication skills
13. Experience in sourcing of logistics services, warehouse management, reconfiguration / optimization, product lifecycle management consulting, budgeting of logistics services, supply chain management, cooperation with external service providers
14. Be proactive, ambitions, results and solution driven, take initiative
15. Be collaborative, connect with related functions and contribute to the results of others
16. Be adaptive to changes, strive for consumer centric decisions
