Summary
Qorvo is seeking a dynamic Product Owner (PO) to lead the development of software solutions powered by our advanced radio technologies. You will manage the end-to-end product development lifecycle, ensuring that our software solutions deliver exceptional value to customers. A strong foundation in software development and program management will set you up for success in this role.
You will work with a dedicated team building a BLE/Matter Software Development Kit (SDK) for the QPG6200 radio board, focused on enabling seamless integration within smart home ecosystems.
Responsibilities
As a Product Owner, your role is to guide the team toward delivering maximum value efficiently:
1. Build the Backlog: Define functional and non-functional requirements by breaking down features into actionable, value-driven stories.
2. Documentation & Tooling: Manage comprehensive documentation (user guides, API documentation, release notes) and practical tools.
3. Prioritize the Backlog: Rank and prioritize the backlog to streamline time-to-market.
4. Track Development: Guide and support the team to ensure timely and high-quality releases.
5. Relentless Improvement: Use KPIs and performance tools to measure progress.
6. Stakeholder Communication: Share project updates and potential challenges with stakeholders.
7. Product Roadmap Contribution: Collaborate with Product Managers by analyzing feedback from customers and stakeholders.
Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in BLE and/or Matter technology.
Technical Skills: A strong understanding of BLE and Matter protocols, along with embedded firmware and software development practices.
Project Management: Proficient in typical project management tools (Jira) and methodologies.
Agile: Knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, or LeSS).
People, Business and Technical Leadership: Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
Problem-Solving: Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving and creative thinking.
Feature Development: Experience in defining and validating minimum viable features.
