As a Technical Project Manager, you will play a critical role in the planning, execution, and delivery of various internal and external projects, with a focus on Datacenter solutions. You will be responsible for managing project timelines, budgets, and resources while ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. This role requires a strong understanding of IT and network solutions, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead the management, planning, and execution of Datacenter projects, including infrastructure and application-related initiatives.
2. Coordinate and motivate project teams, including internal staff, partners, subcontractors, and virtual teams.
3. Define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables, aligning them with stakeholder expectations.
4. Monitor project progress, risks, and changes, utilizing formal processes and tools to ensure successful project outcomes.
5. Provide regular reporting and updates to internal and external stakeholders, managing expectations and resolving conflicts as needed.
6. Demonstrate strong networking skills to address dependencies, issues, and escalations effectively.
7. Contribute to strategic discussions and initiatives related to Datacenter solutions and technology trends.
Requirements:
1. You have a master’s or bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent through experience.
2. You have a broad knowledge of Datacenter-related products and services as well as the trends and technical evolutions in those markets.
3. You can participate in both strategic and tactical discussions.
4. You are stress-resistant and you don’t easily get thrown off balance.
5. You have a can-do attitude and you are willing to constantly learn and expand knowledge.
6. You have knowledge and/or experience in project management.
7. You can work independently and you are a team player.
8. You are both assertive and very good at communication. You can engage in discussions at different levels (C-level to 1st line employees).
9. You have strong negotiation skills and you can clearly articulate your vision both internally and in customer meetings.
10. You are analytical and combine high-level conceptual thinking with attention to detail.
11. You are pragmatic and hands-on.
12. You have a good knowledge of standards, governance, and compliance processes.
