Data Governance Analyst (Energy Sector)
đ Location: Charleroi, Belgium (2 days/week on-site)

A leading company in the energy sector is looking for a Data Governance Analyst to join its Data Management department for an estimated 8-month full-time mission.
While partial remote work is possible, a minimum on-site presence of 2 days per week is required in Gosselies. Access to a personal vehicle is preferred, as the location is not easily reachable by public transport.
đ§ Your Role
As a Data Governance Analyst, you will support the Data Governance Lead and contribute to the implementation and enforcement of data governance policies across the organization. Your key responsibilities include:
* Supporting the rollout of data governance policies, standards, and processes
* Collaborating with the data quality team to manage and apply data quality standards
* Mapping data flows across the organization and developing a data glossary
* Ensuring security and privacy compliance through audits and documentation
* Promoting best practices in collaboration with business, IT, and data teams
* Contributing to internal training and awareness efforts

Required Skills & Experience
* Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in IT, Business, or similar
* Fluent French (C2 level)
* Proven experience in data governance roles
* Strong knowledge of data management principles and data quality
* Experience with tools such as Collibra, Purview, Precisely, Alation, etc.
* Strong understanding of data privacy, compliance, and security
* Skilled in creating data glossaries and managing documentation
* Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

* Knowledge of GDPR, ISO27001
* Familiarity with Agile methodologies
* Understanding of project management principles
