Key Responsibilities
As an R&D Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, development, and optimization of our medical equipment control systems.
Your Main Responsibilities
* Develop and program automation solutions using Siemens STEP7, TIA Portal, BNR, following a V-cycle approach.
* Design and integrate SCADA systems (Wonderware Archestra, Wonderware InTouch).
* Conduct FAT/SAT testing and validation, both internally and on client sites.
* Lead a control module and ensure its software maintenance.
* Provide technical support and training to internal teams and clients.
Key challenges of the role
* Development & Programming: Creating and improving automation solutions.
* Validation & Testing: FAT/SAT cycles, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting.
* Support & Training: Assisting teams and clients with implemented solutions.
Your profile
* Degree in Automation, Industrial Computing, or a related field
* At least 3 years of experience in industrial automation, including:
o PLC programming (Siemens STEP7, TIA Portal) and/or BNR
o SCADA development (Wonderware Archestra, InTouch)
o FAT/SAT testing and validation in a V-cycle approach
o Industrial communication protocols (Profibus-DP, PROFINET, ModbusTCP, OPC-UA) and Safety PLCs
o Knowledge of .Net, Python, SQL, Web development is a plus!
* Languages: English (B2) & French (C1) required
* Mobility: Occasional travel (10%), valid driver’s license (B) required
