Responsibilities:
1. Project management:
1. You are a key player in developing the tools and framework to shift from an on-demand and on-site support to a more data-driven remote support.
2. You provide specialist technical support for the process engineering work on the projects.
3. You provide process engineering design input to the project during the pre-study & study phases on established technologies or emerging technologies related to CO2. The goal is to meet Carmeuse’s technical, financial, safety & environmental objectives.
4. You provide on-site support during commissioning and start-up of operations including process analysis and troubleshooting.
5. You punctually participate in the assessment of new acquisitions.
2. Support to operations:
1. You provide technical support to operations and regional process engineers including process studies, troubleshooting, process optimization, and maintenance of historical data to identify, monitor & control key operating parameters & perform benchmarking activities.
2. You will provide on-site support when necessary.
3. Technical watch & knowledge transfer:
1. You maintain up-to-date knowledge of developments & practices in process engineering.
2. You act as a cross-fertilization facilitator throughout our plants worldwide.
3. You actively contribute to the process engineering community of practices.
4. You transfer process technical knowledge to plant operations & regional support staffs.
5. You actively contribute to the “Group Engineers Training Program” by developing & delivering training contents and act as a coach while troubleshooting technical problems with operations and regional support staff aiming at making them autonomous in their role.
4. Safety:
1. Provide technical support to operations and/or project teams on facility safety initiatives when designing and/or redesigning work processes to mitigate workplace injuries.
Your Profile:
1. Education: University degree: Master's in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical, Chemical…).
2. Experience: 5-7 years in industrial process (Lime, Cement, Steel, Glass or similar).
3. Soft skills:
1. Strong complex problem-solving skills and passion for technical aspects of industry.
2. Strong presentation and communication skills and the ability to explain complex analytical concepts to people from other fields (engineers or business audience).
3. Total ownership and autonomy on support and projects.
4. Detail-oriented.
5. Driving for Results and ability to prioritize to meet the deadline.
6. Teamwork, collaborative and influencing skills.
7. Coaching attitude, able to give and receive honest feedback to/from collaborators.

4. Technical skills:
1. Professional & Technical expertise linked with a 5-7 years experience in Industrial Processes and an Engineer education level.
2. Computer skills (MS Office tools, AutoCAD basics, Visio, …).
3. Fluent in English (min level B2).
4. Open to travel (+/-25%).
5. Showing an interest and having basic knowledge on data science concepts is a plus.
6. Other languages are a plus.
7. Experience in CO2 technologies is a plus.
8. Experience in Lime and cement technologies is a plus.
9. Knowledge and experience in mining and geology is a plus.
10. Maintenance competencies are a plus.
Your future Manager:
The manager of the team is Sebastien Lambert, 33 years old. He joined Carmeuse seven years ago as a process engineer and previously worked as an electrical reliability engineer. He holds a degree in electromechanics from the Faculty of Engineering of Mons.
Sebastien is passionate about technology and seeks to learn new things every day across various subjects. He values personal growth and believes in surpassing oneself, whether in sports or other areas. His goal is to lead a department where colleagues feel comfortable and empowered. Sebastien organizes work to leverage people’s strengths and foster their growth. He strongly believes in decisions making based on facts and consolidated knowledge. The Recruitment Process:
1. Olivia Braszko, our Talent Acquisition Lead will analyze your Résumé and cover letter.
2. A first "Teams" interview will be scheduled with Olivia. You will take 2 personality questionnaires. She will want to know more about you, as a person and as a professional. She will assess your motivations and answer your questions.
3. You will have a second interview with Sébastien Lambert (our Head of Operations Support) and Aurelie Mordant (our HRBP).
4. The last interview will take place with Laurent Rijmenans (our Process Engineering Director), and Alain Baert (our COO).
