Job Description
As a Lab Technician working with the Equipment Qualification and Validation team, you will be working together with a driven service team of fellow Lab Technicians to perform qualification and validation actions for the lab equipment in R&D. The focus will be on Chromatographic lab equipment (Liquid chromatography, LC-MS, GC, GC-MS) but also on other equipment (Karel Fisher, XRD, balances, IR, …)
Responsibilities:
1. Execution and follow up of periodic testing (including testing with regard to repairs, retirements and changes) and small changes activities for operational lab instruments in cooperation with the key user and instrument supplier, if applicable, including data review.
2. Execution of functional testing in support of new equipment qualification.
3. Planning and follow up of all lab instruments within the labs.
4. Provide input for the lab instrument real time inventory and validation plan (VMP) updates and revisions (inventory, qualification status and additional information as required).
5. Support the troubleshooting process for testing activities or qualification related incidents, defects or other problems in order to assure the continued operation of the lab instrument.
Qualifications
6. A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a scientific related field or equivalent through experience.
7. Experience with lab equipment qualification and validation is an asset.
8. Experience with and exposure to pharmaceutical lab activities is an asset.
9. Previous experience in a cGxP/cGMP environment is an asset.
10. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Fluency in English is a must as this is the working language – Dutch is nice to have.
11. An enthusiastic and motivated person with the ability to be a great team player.
12. A proactive approach, adaptive/flexible and a sense of urgency attitude.
13. Fast-learning, accurate and not scared of taking ownership/responsibility.
14. Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
