We’re seeking talented interns to join our Human Resources department. As part of the Human Capital team at PwC Belgium, you'll collaborate with a diverse group of HR professionals, each with unique talents and expertise. You'll assume responsibilities across various HR functions for one or more Business Units within our Lines of Service.
What you’ll learn and do - the choice is yours!
1. Employer Branding & Events
2. Helping the recruitment team by facilitating a wide variety of employer branding-related initiatives and coming up with fresh ideas;
3. Helping with revisioning PwC and working on branding our material into PwC’s New Equation;
4. Creating content to promote at recruitment events to graduate students and young professionals;
5. Working on a strategy to help PwC target new recruits in a modern context;
6. Supporting our Event Officer in the organization of all recruitment events;
7. Participating in events like job fairs and internal events with PwC's people;
8. Contacting specialists from other teams, such as Learning & Development, Communications and Marketing.
2. HR Information Systems
9. You'll play a key role in several operational HR flows such as the on- and off boarding procedures to ensure a smooth employee experience;
10. You'll review HR legal documents that are requested prior to start, off support to our new joiners with their (digital) onboarding tasks, off physical/virtual guidance to our employees during their check out procedure;
11. You'll offer general employee assistance with data input/procedures in our HR system “Workday”;
12. You'll act as a point of contact in the first line ticketing support stream by helping out our employees with technical/operational questions covering the broad field of HR.
3. Campus/Senior Recruitment
13. Supporting our selection procedures for junior and experienced applicants, including organizing selection days, scheduling interviews, sourcing candidates, screening CVs, discussing candidates with hiring managers, preparing salary offers and contracts, and more;
14. Participating in events like job fairs and internal events with PwC's people, and helping organize other events;
15. Contacting specialists from other HR teams, such as Learning & Development, Marketing, Payroll and HR Operations;
16. You’ll be guided through your entire internship and work closely with your coach and fellow recruiters.
4. Learning & Development
17. You'll assist in planning and achieving the L&D agenda;
18. You'll help with the organisation of the departmental (technical) programmes (administrative support);
19. You'll use of tools and databases for organisation, training and reporting purposes;
20. You'll contact providers for practical organisation of courses + for discussion of content and programme based upon feedback received from participants;
21. You'll be responsible for invites, identifying correct target audience, participants lists & attendance registration, monitoring of seat capacity of a course including cancellations, evaluation forms, travel arrangements, informing instructors & follow up on instructor cancellations/changes, booking meeting rooms.
5. Diversity & Inclusion
22. You will support the D&I and Wellbeing Lead in achieving the firm-wide D&I agenda;
23. You will contribute to a variety of D&I projects, like coordinating our D&I Ambassador community (Employee Resource Groups/ERGs), preparing D&I events, translating the annual People Survey D&I results into proposed actions, supporting D&I trainings & team workshops, updating the “Yoda” intranet with D&I news, setting up a D&I dashboard and Pulse Survey,...;
24. You will be highly encouraged to provide your fresh ideas on new actions/initiatives/projects to make PwC a true D&I champion;
25. You will collaborate with a large variety of stakeholders and teams across the firm (HR, Communications, Marketing, Business);
26. You will be guided and coached through your entire internship.
6. Reward - Payroll
27. You’ll be part of the reward team helping with the mobility offering to ensure a smooth employee experience;
28. You’ll provide support for our flexible income plan;
29. You’ll assist our reward team in handling the insurances by doing data quality checks;
30. You’ll support the reward team to update our intranet on all reward - payroll topics;
31. You’ll provide support to the payroll team in handling employee request;
32. You’ll assist in the payroll related administration and the preparation of the monthly payroll;
33. You’ll be a content contributor in the process description process in which all payroll and reward related processes are fully described
7. HR Business Partner
34. You’ll have an advisory role, and you will contribute to the execution of both the international and the Belgian Human Capital strategy;
35. You’ll help in being a point of contact in the HR field for employees and directors/partners, but also a pivot between the business and other stakeholders within HC;
36. You'll translate the results of the annual People Survey into an analysis and into a strategic Business Unit plan, together with the other HR Business Consultants;
37. You'll assist to talent management and exit conversations, help prepare the annual appraisal and reward process;
38. You'll contribute to several HR projects around talent management, reporting, people experience, diversity & inclusion, learning & development, etc.
About you
39. You’re a final-year Bachelor or Master’s student in Human Resources, Office Management, Business Administration or any other relevant field and you're eager to learn more about the HR world;
40. You’re looking for a school internship for at least 3 months;
41. You’re able to express yourself fluently in Dutch and/or French and English;
42. You’re enthusiastic, motivated and a real team player with a passion for people;
43. You have good organizational skills and a hands-on mentality;
44. You have good interpersonal and communication skills;
45. You’re familiar with the Google Suite/MS Office applications;
46. You have a good digital understanding and the ability to use technology;
47. You’re capable of adapting easily in a constantly changing environment.
