We are currently looking to expand our team in Namur and we are recruiting an Academic Coordinator with a very high level of English. French is mandatory.
We are looking for sociable people who are passionate about education and who love working with young children and everything it entails. Candidates must be dynamic, organized, and accustomed to managing teams of people and are comfortable doing sales. As part of a larger team, the School Coordinator will count on the support from a marketing, pedagogical, quality, and administrative team.
Responsibilities
1. Prepare and organise internal academic coordination meetings.
2. Supervise that the school has all the necessary material to operate.
3. Responsible for the selection and hiring of the team of teachers with the support of the pedagogical team.
4. Plan and execute the various activities of the school together with the team of teachers.
5. Plan and monitor the implementation of group planning and scheduling.
6. Organise, support, coordinate and continuously monitor teachers.
7. Provide support for teachers and resolve any pedagogical queries they may have.
8. Ensure the preparation of reports and conduct the learning test.
9. Perform internal teacher audits.
10. Implement and monitor the Contingency Plan.
11. Hire teachers in accordance with the criteria laid out by the school director.
12. Provide support and conduct tutorials.
13. Perform analyses on children and groups.
14. Place and track materials orders.
15. Carry out inventory and stock control for the school.
16. Carry out and monitor meetings and communication with parents.
17. Perform basic administrative procedures.
18. Provide care service for parents and customers, both internal and external.
19. Carry out consolidated management reports for the analysis of results.
General Requirements
1. Advanced or Proficiency level of English (C1-C2).
2. Candidates with qualifications in Infant Education, Foreign Languages, Language and Literature, Translation and Interpretation, and other similar types of qualification will be given preference.
3. Previous experience working and communicating with children will be a plus factor for candidates.
4. Experience in sales and customer relations will also be a plus.
5. Part-time job: 23 hours per week.
6. Availability: from September 2025.
7. Candidates must live in or around Namur.
