The Consolidation & Integrated Reporting Manager plays an important role in the global monthly consolidation of 150+ legal entities. Together with your team you will be responsible for preparing and improving the statutory, quarterly and yearly financial reporting under applicable law and legislation (IFRS mainly) but also support the Group Accounting Director on wider topics such as M&A integration, process improvements, etc.
The Consolidation & Integrated Reporting Manager also acts as a key collaborator regarding non-financial data collection and the related reporting, both internally (process efficiency, data integrity, strategic action identification) and externally (Integrated Reporting in accordance with CSRD).

Reporting & Location
The Consolidation & Integrated Reporting Manager reports to the Group Accounting Director. The role is located in Antwerp (Berchem, Belgium).
Mission
The mission of the Consolidation & Integrated Reporting Manager is to perform, oversee and direct the monthly consolidation of the entire Azelis Group, and deliver financial reporting in accordance with IFRS. The Consolidation & Integrated Reporting Manager further uses his/her knowledge in streamlined financial data collection and reporting processes in order to steer the internal ESG reporting towards a similar maturity as financial reporting. The financial and non-financial reporting come together in the Integrated Report, for which the Consolidation and Integrated Reporting Manager acts as a (co-)project manager.
In this role, the Consolidation and Integrated Reporting Manager will work closely together with the local Finance teams across the globe, and in addition collaborates daily with the Group CFO, Group Accounting Director, fellow Consolidation Managers, Investor Relations, the Heads of Sustainability, SHEQ, Legal and HR, and Communications.
Main accountabilities
Accounting & Consolidation:
1. Responsible for the consolidation process of 150+ legal entities, together with the co-Consolidation Manager(s).
2. Monitoring that strict deadlines are being adhered to during the consolidation and reporting process.
3. Maintain the Accounting & Financial Economic Manual under IFRS, and monitor that this is properly being applied across the Group, including strict application of the Standard Chart of Accounts.
4. Assist in the integration of newly acquired entities in the consolidation of the group and assist in the preparation of Purchase Price Allocations (PPA), related position papers, and the proper reflection of that in the consolidation.
5. Assist in required periodic analysis, like impairment tests or pension accounting.
6. Ensuring the accounting, consolidation and financial reporting is in accordance with applicable law and legislation (IFRS mainly) and solving technical accounting issues together with the co-Consolidation Manager(s).
7. Involved in the coordination of the external audit process and assuring a smooth running of the audit process.
8. Assist in the preparation of interim (quarterly) and year end external reports, including consolidated income statements, balance sheets and cash flows, as well as required disclosures, and including the preparation of the quarterly financial press releases.
9. Prepare the quarterly financial data-book and guard consistency in calculation and reporting of KPI's, both internally and externally.
Environment, Social and Governance reporting:
10. Roll out and improve the processes regarding non-financial data: collaborate with the Sustainability, SHEQ, Legal and HR Directors to achieve data collection and integrity processes similar to those of financial data, and work towards sound internal monthly reporting in order to stimulate ESG data awareness across the group.
11. Centrally steer the audit process related to ESG.
12. Process owner regarding reporting on EU Taxonomy.
13. Coordinate the preparation of the Integrated Report, and specifically the sustainability statements (E, S and G) in accordance with CSRD requirements. In that respect, the Consolidation and Integrated Reporting Manager closely follows developments in reporting under CSRD.
14. Support the group sustainability coordinator with supplying information for ESG benchmarks like Sustainalytics and Ecovadis.
Experience & Education
15. Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in a consolidation and accounting role.
16. Process-driven, with excellent financial analytical and accounting skills, and willingness to extend.
17. Highly organized, accurate and structured, able to work well under stress, handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
18. Basic knowledge of IFRS as a minimum.
19. Experience with ESG benchmarks and related regulatory requirements. Willingness to become a subject matter expert.
20. Strong educational background, university degree level in Economics or Accountancy.
21. Cultural awareness: Used to working with different cultures and in multiple countries.
22. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, and confidence to convey information to colleagues across the globe, command of Dutch language a plus.
