As Business Controller you will be part of the finance & administration team and report to the Head of Finance & Administration.
You will also work closely with law firms, financial advisors, and other external partners.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Financial Monitoring & Controlling: ensure the tracking of budgets and analyse variances
* Financial Reporting: prepare detailed financial reports for banks, internal stakeholders and shareholders
* Accounting Closures: oversee the closing process in coordination with the external accounting firm
* Budgeting & Forecasting:
o Develop and track the construction budgets of various projects
o Prepare standalone and consolidated budgets
* Treasury: optimise the cash position of the group companies
* ERP: support the implementation of an ERP
* Financial Analysis & Optimisation: identify financial and operational optimisation opportunities to support the company's growth
* Master degree in applied economics, business management or finance
* Min 4 years of experience in audit (preferably in SMEs) or financial controlling, providing a strong understanding of accounting and financial processes
* Strong analytical and quantitative skills (holistic solution minded but with sharp eye for details)
* Consolidation skills is seen as a plus
* Full professional proficiency in English, proficiency in French and/or Dutch is a plus
