As an Administrative Assistant within the Accounting department you will be helping the accounting department of Besix and their Joint Ventures with administrative tasks. In this function, you are the link between the accountants, suppliers, clients, other departments and sites.
1. Responsibilities :
BESIX sa
* Art30bis:
o Declaration of Subcontractors on existing sites
o Create new sites
* Follow-up on invoices:
o Managing reminders
o Contest invoices when needed
o Check and control bank accounts from suppliers
* Control and follow-up of expense notes from employees
* Check and control the weekly payment lists for subcontractors
* Follow-up incoming letters and incoming phone calls from suppliers
* Send out the intercompany situations
* Follow-up vendor balances:
o Ask for refunds for credit notes
o Clean polluted vendors
Joint Ventures
* Open & close bank accounts
* Ensure bank account signatories are up to date
* The management of all incoming bank guarantees
* Open & close VAT-numbers for new and old Joint Ventures
Qualifications
* Minimum a professional bachelor's degree
* At least 3 years of relevant experience, experience within a construction environment or within a project based environment is a plus
* Experience with 4PS is a plus
* Good excel skills
* Can work independently, as well as in group
* Communicating clearly to the point, both orally and in writing
* Social, open mind, assertive
* Problem solving attitude, proactive
* Hands-on, eye for detail and work accurately
* Analytical thinking skills
* Positive mindset, constructive, energetic
* Eager to continuously learn
* Mastering French and English, and a good knowledge of Dutch
