Internship Position
We are looking for an intern to join the International Commercial Experiment (ICE) Cubes Service, to cover the day-to-day activities of the ICE Cubes Marketing and Business Development (https://www.icecubesservice.com/).
The Internship is proposed in the International Commercial Experiment Cubes Service (ICE Cubes) Strategic Business Unit (comprised of ~10 persons).
The Intern will mainly report to Principal Scientist R&D.
* Location: Noordwijk, the Netherlands
* Duration: 5 to 6 months
* Start date: To be defined with the Intern
Tasks and Responsibilities
The Intern will focus on the day-to-day activities of the ICE Cubes Marketing and Business Development:
* Assist the implementation of the marketing strategy for the ICE Cubes Service
* Prepare and execute marketing campaigns
* Analyse the results of campaigns
* Prepare value proposition material for customer sectors
* Follow up leads and converting leads into opportunities
* Coordinate for and participate in promotional events and conferences.
Skills and Experience
* Currently enrolled in at least the third year Marketing, Business Management, Business Engineering studies or equivalent
* Knowledge of or first experience with:
* Marketing strategies and Sales
* Market identification and analysis
* Interested in and comfortable with technical, scientific, and space engineering aspects
* An innovative and forward-looking mind set with a pro-active and flexible attitude
* Ability to adhere to strict standards of confidentiality
* Strength to cope with schedules and deadlines
* Strategic / success-oriented mind set
* Familiarity with business and technology trends in the space sector or other relevant industries is an asset
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Good written and spoken English.
