What can you expect?
As a Reinsurance Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring reliability with complete autonomy, as part of the Guy Carpenter Benelux team. Your responsibilities will include the technical and accounting management of reinsurance contracts, as well as monitoring financial flows. Additionally, there is an opportunity for you to receive training and take on tasks in commercial and administrative support of other reinsurance broking related activities

We will count on you to:
8. Ensure compliance of the accounts with the signed contracts and enter them into the software.
9. Record and track reinsurance transactions.
10. Issue premium advice.
11. Manage claims notifications.
12. Monitor cash flow.
13. Engage with clients accounting teams when needed
14. Act as the contact person for reinsurers regarding accounts and claims.
15. Manage portfolio commutation.
What you need to have:
16. Hold a bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in economics, finance, insurance, or risk.
17. Preferably have professional experience in risk or (multinational) insurance management or account management.
18. Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing.
19. Full professional proficiency in French and English is required, and knowledge of Dutch would be an additional asset.
20. Have an eagerness to collaborate and work in a multinational network and a global company.
21. Have knowledge of reinsurance treaties.
22. Be proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
