For the Ardena Business Unit Drug Product Development and Manufacturing (DDM) based in Mariakerke (Gent, Belgium), we are looking for a
DIRECTOR QUALITY
Your Key Responsibilities
As Director Quality, you are the central point of contact for all Quality-related matters within our organization. You will have a broad and varied role with both operational and strategic tasks:
1. Developing and implementing quality policies and procedures, particularly those of IMPs.
2. Leading the Quality department (including the engineering subgroup) and ensuring the necessary training and development of employees.
3. Supervising and actively participating in internal and external audits where necessary and ensuring compliance with regulations.
4. Analysing quality data and reporting findings to the Management Team.
5. Collaborating with the GMP Production department, R&D (formulation), and the analytical department to resolve quality issues and implement improvements.
6. Supporting corporate projects at group level where necessary and representing the Ghent site within the Ardena group.
7. Reconciling business objectives with legal quality requirements in the pharmaceutical industry.
8. You are part of the local Management Team and report to the Business Unit Director DDM-BE.
YOUR PROFILE
1. You have at least 7 years of experience in Quality, with leadership experience.
2. You hold a master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, with a strong preference for a MaNaMa degree in Industrial Pharmacy from a Belgian University.
3. You have a thorough knowledge of regulations regarding IMPs is a big plus.
4. You are a 'people person' with strong analytical and strategic skills and are solution-oriented & hands-on.
5. You are strong in communication and can advise and support both employees and managers.
6. You have an open mindset and radiate calm and confidence.
7. You can express yourself fluently in English.
8. You also have a well-developed business mindset.
