We are an international school with around 70 employees and 300 children. With over 45 different nationalities we are an English speaking environment however the HR tools and the interactions with the payroll agency are in French.
In line with the school vision, mission, culture and values, the HR Manager is accountable to the Direction of the School and will be responsible for the hiring, the developing and the wellbeing of our employees.
* Responsible for the hiring process and ensure it includes child protection measures.
* Assist with employee onboarding, orientation and exit processes.
* Be the first point of contact for employees on HR matters.
* Assist, support and record the monitoring of staff performance and attendance.
* Assist and keep records of employee’s professional development.
* Keep informed of new and updated HR laws and regulations and keep the management informed.
* Review and prepare documentation about the HR related policies and procedures in collaboration with the management.
* Prepare and maintain employee records and documentation and ensure confidentiality.
* Advice on any union related matters.
* Follow-up and keep record of working days, holidays, sick leave, and special leaves.
* Prepare and process of monthly payroll and administration for all employees.
* Pensions and benefits administration.
* Assist the organisation of staff events in collaboration with the management.
As part of the Administration Team, he/she will be asked to be back-up of other team members and perform administrative tasks.

Your profile:
* You are bilingual English-French.
* You have a degree in HR Management or an equivalent experience.
* You are an expert in Belgian social law.
* You have experience in payroll processes.
* You are a trustworthy person and you value the conviviality between colleagues.
* You are diplomatic and ensure confidentiality on all sensitive matters.
* You are able to form positive working relationships at all levels.
* You are flexible and capable of working independently and also demonstrate team spirit.
* You have strengths in administrative tasks with meticulous attention to detail.
* You are reliable and well organised.
