Johnson & Johnson Technology Services is seeking a seasoned Solution Architect for the EMEA Solution Architecture team located in Beerse (Belgium), Limerick (Ireland), or Zuchwil (Switzerland).
This position will be part of a forward-looking, innovative, and delivery-minded team of Solution Architects that collaborates with our business partners to craft meaningful solutions and capabilities, enabling the future of healthcare in the Digital World.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Build re-usable solution architecture patterns and designs with a strong focus on IT infrastructure and the integration of existing enterprise platforms, services, and shrink-wrap/SaaS applications, that meet the business's requirements and objectives across multiple systems/platforms/applications.
2. Analyze complex or unusual problems in consideration of potential impact, perform options analysis, and suggest effective solutions that bring clear business value.
3. Perform architecture reviews to ensure that technology and architecture is up-to-date, identify bottlenecks, and make proposals for improvements in reliability and performance.
4. Contribute to larger projects and serve as an expert with multi-functional team members.
5. Assess external trends, new technologies, and recommend improvements to existing solutions.
6. Balance between IT standards and strategies and business needs to guide well-informed decisions.
Education:
Bachelor or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics.
Experience and Skills:
Required:
1. 5 years of experience in an IT function.
2. Broad knowledge of IT infrastructure technologies and Cloud services on servers, storage, virtualization, network, cyber security, HA, and DR with a solid understanding of the latest evolution of technology standards.
3. Proven expert knowledge in at least one IT technology.
4. Experience working with cross-regional/global IT and multi-functional teams.
5. Good communication, presentation, and visualization skills.
6. Excellent teammate, collaborative, empathic, and people motivator.
7. Ability to connect well with colleagues and business partners at a higher level, managing expectations and building trust.
Preferred:
1. Demonstrated ability in agile software development and intelligent automation.
2. Working experience in an FDA, HIPAA, or GDPR regulated environment.
3. Experience with Agile, Design Thinking, and Problem-solving methods.
Other:
1. Proficiency in English (verbal and written).
2. Occasional travel may be required.
3. Certified in Cloud technologies.
