We are hiring a Senior AV&C Installation Technician for European Commission in Brussels and various locations around Europe.
Main Responsibilities
4. First level technical support of audio‐visual equipment for meeting and conference rooms in the European Commission.
5. Operation of AV&C equipment and use of audio and video technologies.
6. Organisation, implementation and maintenance of AV and IT support.
7. Assistance in meetings with simultaneous interpreting delivery platforms (SIDP).
8. Participation in tests and trainings in the use of meeting rooms and virtual platforms.
9. Incident resolution and recording in ticketing tool.
10. Guidance regarding the use of AV and IT systems for end users.
Successful Candidate
LEVEL OF EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
11. Knowledge of audio‐visual and IT material, and of multimedia technologies.
12. Experience with microphones, sound speakers, video screens, projectors, recording equipment, sound and mixing boards.
13. Experience in end user assistance or support of information systems.
14. Ability to apply high quality standards.
15. Advanced level of English and/or French, both written and spoken.
16. Customer oriented service and good team spirit.
