What will you be doing ?
As a finance manager, we offer you a varied position with impact in the heart of this rapidly growing scale-up. Within the operations department (3 FTE), you will lead the finance pod in direct and daily interaction with the COO, supporting them in a wide range of finance responsibilities, encompassing operational activities and strategic positioning.
Your tasks will include:
Accounting Operations
* Manage the accounting teams (externalized) in their operations, providing guidance and validation (policies, deferred revenue, tax, depreciation, etc.)
* AP: Process invoices, expenses, and payments using tools like Spendesk
* AR: Analyse customer aging balances and assist with reminder and collection processes.
Cash and Expense Management
* Lead the payment process and oversee liquidity forecasting
* Manage and analyse working capital, including cash flow forecasting and payment strategy implementation
Compliance and Reporting
* Compile weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly dashboards and reports
* Coordinate, supervise, participate and review the monthly and year-end closures and audits
Budget cycle
* Facilitate the establishment of yearly budgets with support of teams
* Build and update forecasts
Process Optimization and Projects
* Identify and implement improvements and standardization in accounting and finance workflows and tools
* Support management with financial insights and strategic analysis
* Support our corporate development where needed based on our strategies and opportunities (e.g. shareholder updates)

To be successful in this position you should relate to the following expectations:
* You have a bachelor or a master's degree in Finance with option accountancy and 3 to 5 years of demonstrable relevant experience (controlling, accounting, etc.)
* You have a healthy dose of entrepreneurship, who thinks along with the business and can be the translator between finance and business.
* You are communicative and have a hands-on mentality.
* You have a "can do" mentality.
* You communicate fluently in French and English.
* You have an analytical mind.
* As an administrative jack-of-all-trades, you work accurately, carefully and in an organized way.
* You have an affinity with IT and a good knowledge of Office. Excel in particular holds no secrets for you. You have experience with accounting programmes (e.g. Exact Online, Odoo)
* You are flexible and have a healthy dose of perseverance
