The Central HR Department is looking to recruit a new People Program Manager to be located either in Visé, Belgium or in St-Helen, UK or in Skofja Loka, Slovenia and reporting to the Group Chief People Officer KI EMEA & APAC.

The main purpose of the People Program Manager is to play a key role in developing, overseeing, and implementing strategic People projects and initiatives that align with KI People objectives and the Group People objectives outlined in the Knauf 100 Strategy.
The role is also responsible for supporting People projects with continuous improvement, standardization and harmonization where it is relevant in collaboration with the Regions, and leading change management efforts related to People programs and initiatives. This individual will lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of People projects.
What you’ll be doing:
The person will be responsible for overseeing multiple related projects grouped together to achieve the strategic People objectives, while ensuring alignment among the various projects. The person will manage interdependencies where required and focus its efforts on strategic projects, for example: Factory 100, People Strategy X-Matrix, any Acquisition & Greenfield Projects in a new regional scope, Manufacturing People Best Practices sharing and development, Strategic Workforce Planning, and Compliance & Data Privacy People projects coordination.
Key Program Responsibilities:
* Program Management: Lead and manage various People projects and initiatives to support organizational objectives and the KI People strategy. Oversee cross-functional teams to ensure timely and cost-effective execution of projects.
* Project Planning & Execution: Design and develop detailed project content & plans, including timelines, milestones, KPIs, and reporting mechanisms. Regularly monitor progress and adjust plans as necessary to ensure their success and impact on the business growth.
* Risk Management: Identify project risks and obstacles, implementing effective mitigation strategies to resolve issues in a timely manner.
* Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with regional and central People teams, business leaders, and other key stakeholders (including the Group People team) to ensure alignment on project goals and resources.
* Resource Allocation: Ensure the right level of resources is allocated to support successful project implementation. Influence and lead resources involved in the projects to drive outcomes.
* Leadership Reporting: Present regular project updates to the HR Community, Executive Committee (ExCo) and Management Committee, highlighting key milestones, challenges, progress and corrective actions.
What we’d love for you to have:

* BA and MA in Human Resources with experience in leading HR in Plant/Technical/ Manufacturing environment; an educational certification or experience in Continuous Improvement, PMP or Change Management would be a plus.
* Ideally 10 to 12 years of experience in manufacturing environment, with a focus on strategic People projects and programs management as operational activities.
* Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional projects, particularly in manufacturing environments.
* Knowledge of People compliance, data privacy, and legal requirements related to global People operations will be an asset.
* Ability to navigate complex stakeholder relationships and influence outcomes across diverse teams (example of stakeholders: Director Industrial Performance; HRBP of Central Functions; Regional HR Directors, Legal Team, Management Committee, ExCo, Plant Manufacturing team, etc).
* Languages: Fluent in English, additional languages would be an asset.
* Collaboration: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to collaborate across different functions, regions, and leadership levels.
* Experience in Manufacturing: a background in manufacturing environments, with a strong understanding of the unique People challenges and opportunities in this sector.
* Project Management Expertise: Proven track record in leading and managing complex projects, with expertise in project planning, risk management, and successful execution.
* Strategic & Operational Exposure: Experience in both strategic and operational People functions, with the ability to influence senior leadership and drive change across global teams while rolling up your sleeves to deal with operational activities too.
