Customer Experience Solutions is responsible for customer-facing IT systems of SNCB, including commercial channels and products, passenger information systems and systems for stations, facilities and buildings.
As a Domain Architect you are responsible for the IT architecture of a business domain at enterprise level. You work together on the corporate business capability map (what) linking to the (how) people, processes, data and systems realizing them. You work closely together with portfolio management to define Roadmaps based on the needs of the business and future target state architectures. In case of projects you assure the proper guidance within the established reference architecture and IT vision and strategy.
Job Description & Responsibilities
1. You are responsible for creating and maintaining baseline and target business, application and technology architecture of the assigned domain, in order to support a sounds and sufficient IT landscape for the assigned domain.
2. Develop, document and maintain a architectural roadmap in close collaboration with the business and IT stakeholders, the delivery organization and portfolio management.
3. You also participate in the selection of vendors and solutions (buy decisions), working closely together with business and IT stakeholders
4. Assess the Requirements from a business process perspective, IT - and technology perspective (functional and non-functional) and propose landscape improvements and rationalization
5. Contribute to the business capability map linked to the business processes and technologies (digital solutions) in line with the value streams and goals of SNCB
6. Verify that the proposed solutions are consistent with other projects and the defined IT vision and strategy
7. Conduct methodological and detailed investigations of the as-is situation and document this in the Architecture Repository (ADOIT)
8. Perform quality checks on this repository and resolve any inconsistencies and inaccuracies of the knowledge base by getting after and finding the appropriate information
9. Monitor the application and technology lifecycle and propose actions to maintain a healthy IT landscape assign TIME values on Business Applications)
Vereisten
10. Master in Informatics or Master in Computer Science (or related) or equivalent by experience.
11. 10 years of experience in an architectural role (either as solution or enterprise architect.
12. Strategy and management consulting experience is highly recommended to act as partner for senior management and CxO’s both from IT- as business side.
13. Hands-on experience with technology and delivery practices is considered an additional asset
14. Language skills: Fluent in Dutch or French and English
15. Experience within public transport is a great asset
16. Knowledge of different analysis techniques use cases, scenario building...)
17. Expertise in different notations and methodologies: ArchiMate, but also BPMN and UML
18. Ability to understand and apply the long-term ("big picture") vision vs tactical needs
19. Good communicator both to IT and business stakeholders and to C-level
