Your mission
As a Project Engineer Chip Assembly, you play a pivotal role in leading the development of cutting-edge assembly processes in semiconductor and electronics manufacturing. Ensure high-quality, on-time delivery of assembled devices.
Your main responsibilities are:
* Lead the development and implementation of flipchip, wirebonding, and SMT assembly processes.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to resolve assembly-related challenges and drive new product designs.
* Conduct process optimization studies to enhance yield, efficiency, and reliability.
* Offer technical expertise and guidance on assembly processes.
* Maintain comprehensive documentation, including work instructions and process specs.
Your profile
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in assembly engineering, with expertise in flipchip, wirebonding, and SMT.
* Hands-on experience with chip assembly equipment.
* Strong knowledge of materials like solder, adhesives, and underfills.
* Proficiency in statistical tools for process optimization (e.g., DoE, SPC).
* Excellent problem-solving skills and willing to work 5/5 onsite.
