Purpose of the job
As the Account Manager you will work closely with our pharma clients Pfizer and Sanofi located in Belgium to deliver print and POS services to a professional level, whilst developing that client relationship further on process standardization, product re-engineering, creative ideation, tailored sourcing strategy and in-depth service. The position is client facing, with on-site activities in Brussels and close contact with our office in Diegem, where you will be part of a broader team.
As Account Manager you will cooperate intensively with our broad supplier base and will be required to negotiate costings and timescales for each job. You will maintain the standard SLA’s to drive efficiency throughout the entire process. And you will bring added value by proposing alternative, creative and digital solutions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide technical and creative input and advice on projects as required
2. Take briefs from the client including full specification details and deadline dates and manage from start to finish
3. Suggest alternative options and innovation where possible
4. Brief suppliers on client requirements
5. Monitor projects to ensure they are delivered to specification and on time
6. Maintain a full understanding of the broad range of HH’s services and work closely with the internal departments to provide the client with digital services that compliment their print
7. Implement new methods and procedures as required, within the regulated environment of the pharmaceutical industry
8. Work as a team to help deliver contractual requirements, prepare presentations and complete necessary account admin and reporting
9. Able to attend meetings away from the client site as required
10. Visit suppliers to get a broader knowledge about their capabilities
11. Work with Regional Account Director to identify new business opportunities
12. Deliver services to meet and exceed contracted SLA’s
13. Measure customer satisfaction and take appropriate action
Knowledge, Skills + Experience
14. KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
15. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
16. Strong time management and prioritisation skills
17. Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, with a good sense of humour
18. Has a high level of technical print and POS knowledge with detailed understanding of different techniques
19. Has a project management mind-set
20. Able to manage and communicate with key client stakeholders to successfully deliver and exceed their expectations
21. Able to work in a stable, regulated and structured environment
22. EXPERIENCE
23. Experience in a client facing role is essential
24. Experience in liaising directly with clients and advising on campaign creative/ print/digital solutions is preferred
25. POS conceptual experience is preferred
26. Account management experience, working within a contracted environment to strict SLAs (service level agreements) and KPIs (key performance indicators)
27. Dutch and English knowledge in writing and speaking is key, French is a plus
