Siemens Smart Infrastructure is looking for a driven Product Manager Fire Safety to help promote and implement our Fire SafetyPortfolio (e.g. fire protection & detection systems, alarming and evacuation, extinguishing, danger management, applications & services). More specifically, you will be responsible for the product life-cycle management of Fire SafetySolutions, both from a strategic and a technical point of view. This consists of defining the portfolio roadmap and rolling out the product-line activities in close collaboration with Siemens HQ as well as with internal technical, project management and sales colleagues. Next to that, you’ll also be in close contact with customers, resellers and partners. Your scope will be BeLux.

As a Product Manager for Fire Detection Products, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the successful development and market adoption of fire detection products in Belgium and Luxembourg. You’ll act as the bridge between product strategy and market execution, ensuring that products meet local needs and preferences, while aligning with the company's overall business objectives.
This entails the following responsibilities:
1. Developing and maintaining product knowledge to ensure product information support.
2. Keeping up to date with evolutions in the Fire Safety market (e.g. cloud-based solutions, disturbance free test technology, data-driven platforms).
3. Defining and managing the product roadmap with objectives, clear milestones, and resource allocation; fine-tuning the positioning of a product range and organizing the product roll-out in collaboration with technical experts.
4. Collaborating closely with Siemens Head Quarter (HQ) to strengthen the product offering and its roadmap with specific market requirements and keeping track on roadmap and product evolution.
5. Having technical discussions with technical-commercial stakeholders on features and functionalities of our products ; translating customer/project requirements to product features.
6. Assessing project feasibility from a technical point of view, along with project managers and service delivery managers.
7. Defining and steering new product developments and new releases, providing general business support.
8. Analyzing and reporting market requirements, product/technology trends and business opportunities ; influencing the market through visits to partners, events, customers.
9. Exploring new ways of improving existing services.
10. Providing training to users and colleagues.

11. You have at least a bachelor’s degree in Electronics-ICT, Applied Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electromechanics, Networks & Systems etc.
12. You have affinity with or experience in Fire Safety and cybersecurity topics and actively follow-up the evolutions in these domains.
13. You have a highly analytical and strategic mindset and like to think conceptually and solution oriented .
14. You have experience with or strong interest in strategy development, business plan creation and presentation, forecasting and order management.
15. You’re a natural communicator and bridgebuilder, able to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders from varying business levels.
16. You apply open thinking for change to adapt to the constantly evolving fire detection landscape.
17. Ability to analyze and interpret data to identify market opportunities and assess the performance of fire detection products.
18. Research skills to gather information about the market, competitors, and emerging technologies.
19. Talent for storytelling to create compelling narratives about the benefits of fire detection products.
20. You're open to occasional traveling (2-3 days, a few times per year)
21. You are fluent in Dutch and French with a professional level in English .
