Short term Power Expert (m/f/n)

Your tasks
* You steer and develop trading strategies, especially in the field of algorithmic trading
* You improve existing trading systems related to marketing and nomination of renewables
* You conduct thorough analyses of short-term power markets to identify trends and opportunities, and stay informed about energy trading developments
* You execute trading strategies to optimize the company’s power asset portfolio
* You set up PPA portfolios for the Greater Region (LU, DE, FR, NL), acquire PPA’s and direct marketing volumes
* You work closely with other internal teams to align trading strategies with overall business goals
* You provide insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making related to short term power asset trading
Your profile
* You hold a Master’s degree in Economics, Physics, Mathematics, Engineering or similar
* You are highly stress resistant, with a focus on flexibility and availability
* Strong capability to assess and understand the different challenges of the energy markets
* Excellent time management and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
* High degree of integrity and ethical behaviour
* Highly effective verbal and written communication skills in English and German
