Job Description
The IT Risk and Data Protection Officer plays a crucial role in ensuring Isabel's information technology systems and data management practices comply with regulatory standards and best practices.
Main Responsibilities
* Risk Management:
o Monitor and evaluate IT security measures, systems, and policies.
o Conduct and support IT risk assessments to ensure adherence to standards and regulations.
o Identify IT risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.
o Monitor and assess the efficiency of implemented IT risk management strategies.
* Data Protection:
o Develop and implement the company's data protection strategy and policies.
o Ensure compliance with GDPR and other data protection laws.
o Monitor data processing activities and conduct data protection impact assessments.
o Serve as the point of contact between the company and Supervisory Authorities.
o Train and educate staff on data protection measures and protocols.
* Compliance and Governance:
o Stay abreast of changes in data protection laws and regulations.
o Advise on data protection issues, privacy risks, and possible mitigation strategies.
o Assess new suppliers and new services setup on compliance with GDPR and other data protection laws.
o Handle queries from data subjects regarding personal data and privacy.
o Coordinate with other departments to establish and maintain data privacy protocols.
Requirements
* DPO experience.
* Master's degree with minimum of 5 years of experience.
* Business understanding and ability to advise and influence senior business stakeholders.
* Previous experience with risk and compliance within an IT or technology environment.
* Strong analytical skills and detail-minded.
* Ability to think process-based, risk and compliance minded.
* Fluent in Dutch & English and/or French and English.
