A respected engineering firm active in large-scale infrastructure and civil works is looking for an experienced Geotechnical Engineer to join their growing team in Belgium. The company works on high-impact projects across sectors such as marine structures, roads, bridges, tunnels, waterways, and urban development.
This is a hands-on, technically rewarding role with the opportunity to contribute to both national and international projects that shape the future of infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform geotechnical design and analysis for diverse infrastructure projects.
* Interpret soil investigation data and provide recommendations for foundations, retaining structures, and ground improvement.
* Collaborate closely with structural, hydraulic, and civil engineers within multidisciplinary teams.
* Participate in feasibility studies, tender documents, and detailed design phases.
* Prepare clear, well-structured technical reports and design notes.
Profile:
* Master’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.
* Several years of relevant experience in geotechnical design and site analysis.
* Strong analytical mindset and familiarity with tools such as PLAXIS, GeoStudio, or similar.
* Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in teams.
* Proficiency in Dutch and/or French is a plus.
