On their journey to enhance and sustain operational excellence, we are looking to hire a Head of Operations & Quality Assurance (m/f/x).
Our client is a leading PE firm focusing on Infrastructure investment and manage over 30 Billion AUM. The company has a global presence, offices in various location and employees +/- 200 people worldwide.
This role will be part of the leadership team of the platform, reporting to the Funds CFO. This role requires strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and a deep understanding of operational processes and quality assurance methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
* Strategic planning: develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the goals and strategies
* Performance monitoring: enhance / develop activity planning, set performance metrics, monitor operational performance and delivery and identify corrective actions as needed
* Process improvement: continuously evaluate and improve operational processes to enhance effectiveness of control processes, as well as efficiency and productivity
* Delivery support: work alongside the Heads of Funds and SPV operations to contribute to the delivery of ongoing operations and projects
* Resource management: partner closely with the Funds CFO to oversee the allocation and utilization of staff, including on a projected basis, to ensure adequation of resources with the work plan
* Cross functional collaboration: work closely with other departments to ensure seamless operations and achieve organizational goals
* Project management: lead day-to-day project initiatives related to the improvement of processes and operations, including the assessment and implementation of appropriate technology systems
Quality Assurance
* Quality standards and control processes: establish and maintain quality standards for services and deliverables, as well as quality control procedures to ensure compliance with company standards
* Ongoing quality monitoring: participate to the review of key deliverables (financial statements, investors reports, notices, etc.) before issuance to investors, board members or other stakeholders, identify gaps vs the company's standards and remediation initiatives
* Teams feedback: gather and analyse teams' feedback to identify quality and process improvement opportunities
* Training and development: train and mentor staff on quality assurance
* Ad-hoc support to the Funds administration and SPV administration teams for ongoing operations and projects
Required Experience and Skills
* Master's degree in finance/accounting, with relevant certifications (ACCA and equivalent)
* 10+ years of transversal fund operations & administration experience within the alternative investments space
* Audit or accounting experience within internationally recognized audit / accounting firms, with strong knowledge of IFRS and Luxembourg GAAP for investment funds
* Track-record of designing and implementing operational improvement programs for finance functions with tangible results
* Experience in developing quality assurance strategies in service organizations
* Experience with eFront (or equivalent technology) implementation, ongoing use and improvement
* Strong leadership, project and change management skills
* Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
* High-level quality standards and attention to details and accuracy
* Strategic and innovative thinking with the ability to deep dive into operational matters
* Strong commitment to "customer satisfaction" and quality service delivery
* Excellent communication skills, team-working and collaboration across functions and levels

* English language a must, any other language an advantage
