Job Summary
As a Lead Application & Product Architect at Wolters Kluwer Tax and Accounting Belgium, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing robust software solutions that address the unique challenges in the tax and accounting domain. Leveraging your expertise in .NET and Cloud technologies and application solution architecture, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create scalable and high-performance software products.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Solution Design: Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to create comprehensive and scalable software solutions aligned with business requirements.
2. Application Architecture: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the existing application landscape and contribute to the evolution of the architecture to meet current and future business needs.
3. Technology Leadership : Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring best practices in .NET development and promoting a culture of innovation and excellence.
4. Requirements Analysis: Work closely with business analysts to understand and translate business requirements into technical specifications, ensuring the resulting solutions are both functional and efficient.
5. Collaboration : Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams, including developers, quality assurance, and product management, to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.
6. Technical Documentation : Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for architectural designs, ensuring that the development team has clear guidelines for implementation.
7. Liaison : You are the responsible and point of contact for Belgium within the EU CTO Community.
Qualifications:
8. Master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or equivalent by experience.
9. Strong understanding of application solution architecture principles, and experience with .NET technologies.
10. Proficiency in designing and implementing scalable and high-performance software solutions.
11. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
12. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
13. Experience in the tax and accounting domain is a plus.
14. Familiarity with cloud-based architectures and services (Azure, AWS).
15. Knowledge of agile development methodologies.
16. Dutch language fluency.
