Position Overview
This position is a developmental role focused on learning all aspects of the Ag Supply Chain during four rotations throughout the Plant Nutrient Group’s core business. The purpose of this position is to gain the necessary knowledge and experience to understand key components of the Plant Nutrient business, providing an opportunity to transition into an entry level sales/commercial role within 8-12 months.
Key Responsibilities
1. Learn fundamentals of Plant Nutrient business and supply chain
2. Learn key components of building strategic relationships with customers
3. Gain a working knowledge of Plant Nutrient Group operations including but not limited to commercial product management and sales, logistics, major P&L components and financial reporting, and Farm Center sales and operations.
4. Develop an understanding of pricing and margin throughout the fertilizer supply chain, from manufacturer to farmer.
5. Learn and begin to apply fertilizer supply and demand fundamentals and understand fundamentals and logistics of global trade.
6. Gain a base of understanding regarding local fertilizer markets, end use, service, and logistics in the Eastern corn belt.

Minimum Qualifications & Skills
12. Bachelor’s Degree required (or the equivalent in work experience)
13. 1-3 years’ relevant experience required
14. Must have a valid Driver’s License
15. Must be able to drive for the company according to the Company’s Vehicle Safety and Driver Qualification Policy
Physical Requirements and Working Environment
16. Willingness to travel and flexibility to relocate during and after the rotational program
