As a Legal Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the legal integrity of our operations.
You will work closely with the legal team and other departments to ensure that the company complies with all relevant laws and regulations.
You will be involved in drafting, reviewing and implementing legal documents and policies.
You will also play a crucial role in resolving legal issues and disputes.
Your responsibilities will be very extensive as you will start in a generalist role within the company to master everything:
* Research relevant laws and regulations and translate them into practical guidelines for the company.
* Advising various departments on legal issues.
* Drafting and reviewing contracts, agreements and policy documents.
* Participate in negotiations and consultations with external parties.
* Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of legal processes within the company.
You will mainly perform these tasks from our office in Leuven.
In addition, flexibility will be requested to occasionally travel to our Nivelles office.
Must-have :
* Master's degree in Law
* At least 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience as a Legal Officer or in a similar position.
* Very good knowledge of Dutch, complemented by a good knowledge of English or French.
* You have a first experience at work or during your studies in interpreting legal texts & proofreading and drafting contracts.
* Knowledge or interest in laws and regulations relevant to Easi's IT industry.
* Analytical skills and ability to solve legal issues.
* Persuasive communication skills, both written and oral.
* Able to work and make decisions independently.
* Flexible and able to change gears quickly in a dynamic environment.
* Team player with a hands-on mentality.
