Role and Tasks
We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic person with the passion to support our Product Development team. As Project Manager Product Development, you will work in a dynamic environment and collaborate with your colleagues of engineering, product management, purchase, and quality, handling projects from concept to market introduction. You report to the Product Development Leader and are part of the Product Development team.
Manage product development projects within the Thule RV development team.
Ensure that projects are executed in-line with internal and external standards and practices.
Plan, coordinate, and implement projects: Ensure that goals of projects are accomplished within scope, time, and budget, adhering to defined quality standards and meeting agreed user specifications and expectations.
Close follow-up on timing and deliverables defined in the Thule Project System (TPS).
Organize and drive project team meetings.
Energize the team, drive decision making, and escalate when necessary.
Identify issues related to resource or capacity bottlenecks and escalate where and when needed to the Product Development Leader.
Capture and apply lessons learned on product design.
Drive strategic projects for the business line.
Assist the product designers where possible (Solidworks).
Contribute to the Project governance by maintaining, optimizing, and training people on the Thule project methodology and assist in implementing additional project tools used by Thule group in Thule NV.
Profile
Master's degree or equivalent through experience in a Product Development context.
Proven track record in Project Management.
Knowledge of CAD design (Preferably SolidWorks).
Great time management and organizational skills allowing you to meet commitments for large scale projects.
Stress-resistant and result-oriented.
Strong people management skills to effectively achieve results through team efforts and the desire and ability to motivate, persuade, and direct the activities of others.
Very good communicator. Fluent in Dutch and English; knowledge of French & German is a plus.
