About Standard Textile Europe
As part of its growth, Standard Textile Europe is recruiting a PRODUCT MANAGER/COORDINATOR (M/F/X) in Belgium. This role will act as a liaison between the sales team, product development, and sourcing, with the following responsibilities:
Product Range Management
* Work with the sales teams to anticipate customer needs and propose suitable products.
* Participate in the development of new products (bed linen, terry cloth) in collaboration with internal teams and suppliers.
Translating Commercial Needs into Sourcing and Product Development
* Translate the needs expressed by the sales team into product definitions for the Sourcing Specialist.
* Participate in analyzing and creating product sheets for each item to ensure the products meet quality requirements and the expectations of the hospitality market.
Product Analysis and Development
* Assist in adapting products based on customer feedback or evolving market demands.
* In collaboration with the sales team, monitor trends and new requirements in the hospitality sector to anticipate future customer needs.
Product Quality and Compliance
* Initiate requests for technical adjustments or product modifications based on customer feedback or identified needs with the sourcing specialist.
* Handle product returns and customer complaints in collaboration with the quality and production departments.
Support for the Sales Teams
* As your skills evolve, provide technical support to the sales teams, helping them understand product specifications and respond to customer inquiries.
Requirements
Education: Higher education, technical or commercial.
Experience: Proven experience in a similar role, ideally in the textile sector.
Required Skills
* Autonomy and curiosity.
* Strong interpersonal skills and excellent organizational abilities.
* Ability to thrive in a matrix organization, collaborating effectively across teams.
* Daily interaction with colleagues in France, Germany, and production subsidiaries, requiring a proactive and team-oriented mindset.
You are fluent in Dutch and English. French is a plus not a requirement.
