To support the client's transformation and growth in Europe, they are currently recruiting for a Human Resources Business Partner to look after multiple sites in Belgium.
This is a new addition to their HR team, and you would be joining the client during an exciting period of growth and innovation, with the opportunity to make an immediate, meaningful impact.
What you will be doing-
With multiple sites already operating in Belgium for some time now, they have been pleased to welcome one more to the family last year. This site adds great value to their logistics services and your role will be to make people feel welcome as well as support their integration into the company at all HR-related levels.
As HRBP, you will lead and direct the routine functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.
This position will also support the sites leadership team on a broad range of HR topics and help bring global HR strategies to the different sites of +200 employees in Belgium, to ultimately support us to deliver a positive working environment for all team members.
Some of your responsibilities-
* Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
* Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
* Manage the recruitment and selection process.
* Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
* Maintain pay plan and benefits program.
* Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
Who they're looking for-
In the context of sites integration, and with their structure in constant evolution, it is essential to be people-oriented and really focus on demonstrating our values and support to all employees.
To be successful in this position, they need you to have:
* Previous experience as HRBP
* Proven experience negotiating with Works Councils
* In-depth knowledge of labour law and HR best practices
* Knowledge of HR systems and databases
You will also have:
* A degree in Human Resources or related field
* An ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
* Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
* Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
* English and Dutch (C1 level)
