CMA CGM Belgium is looking for a Sales Director to join the Commercial department.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Your mission is to support and align the company’s customer-centric strategies with its overall business goals, driving customer satisfaction and revenue growth. As Sales Director, you will manage Global Sales, Local Sales, and Sales Support teams to execute a commercialization strategy aligned with our business plans. You will focus on market adoption of our products and be responsible for business, revenue, and market share growth.
The key responsibilities of the Sales Director are as follows:
* Set up, organize, and drive sales teams to manage the customer portfolio and identify growth opportunities.
* Analyze team performance against market and budget statistics.
* Develop commercial activities according to the objectives set by the Group.
* Validate and challenge business action plans developed by Sales Managers.
* Implement management tools to monitor sales teams’ performance and proactively take corrective actions when necessary.
* Promote products and services to customers and prospects.
* Regularly analyze market statistics and report to General Management and teams in the Regional Office.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
* 5+ years as a Key Account Manager.
* Strong knowledge in Shipping (minimum 5+ years of experience in liner shipping).
* Management and leadership skills.
* Effective communication skills, with the ability to articulate various business scenarios to customers and stakeholders.
* Ability to prioritize work effectively and manage time efficiently.
* Previous experience with the Salesforce platform.
* Analytical mindset with the ability to use data for decision-making.
