For our client, one of the largest global medical technology companies in the world, we are looking for a Business Development Manager for their team specialized in providing a range of products for injection and infusion therapy, regional anaesthesia and closed medication management.
This role will lead strategic business development activities, identify significant sales opportunities, position our solutions to senior stakeholders, and play a crucial role in deploying the Benelux commercial strategy.
Organization
Youll collaborate closely with cross functional teams, lead market shaping initiatives, and drive incremental sales and services in acute care.
Function
* Driving incremental sales and services in acute care hospitals
* Developing account strategies, in conjunction with multiple sales teams, to increase category share across the portfolio
* Building and managing relationships with key decision makers within and outside hospitals and engaging with C suite and other senior partners in the market
* Rapidly growing the footprint in new accounts by selling the value proposition at the highest levels within the organization.
* Be the expert in the selling process and messaging
* Demonstrate sophisticated knowledge of acute care products and solutions, industry insights, key competitors, terminology, technology trends, challenges, reimbursement and government regulation, etc.
* Demonstrates advance knowledge of how offerings match with customers unique business needs.
* Negotiating and collaborating optimally with customers and colleagues to influence support for mutually beneficial outcomes and achieving consensus
* Building and sustaining relationships founded on trust with internal and external customers and ensures customer satisfaction and loyalty
* Crafting and driving a significant pipeline with a single focus on hunting for new sales opportunities
* Collaborate closely with other members of the commercial function including Account Managers, Sales Manager, Medical & Clinical, Marketing, Strategic Account Management, Public Policy and HEOR. Consistently applying all resources available
* Mastering a project based, collaborative and customer centric approach in your daily activities and supporting cross functional Customer Success Teams that assure customer satisfaction and success
* Leading and deploying strategic business development and market shaping activities in the acute care setting
* Support Account Managers as needed with overall operational management of the account, cross selling and upselling as appropriate
Requirements
1. Proven experience in the medical device industry, with career progression in relevant fields. Prior experience in (key) account management is a plus.
2. Strong clinical background and experience in a clinical environment.
3. Experience working in a multi o
