Objectives of the function
The job of Marketing Manager consists of leading and directing the marketing and technical department. You work in close coordination with other functions in the team as there are (Key) Account Managers, a Sales Manager and some Consultants. Being part of the leadership team of Fendigo you will report directly to the general management and will have to be a credible and trustworthily contact for veterinarians, universities and animal health organizations.
Furthermore, there should be a balance between practical knowledge gathered from the field and scientific knowledge from desk work, eventually membership of scientific organizations or institutes to continuously add solid technical and practical value to the Animal Health Team and to the market.
Principal tasks & responsibilities
* Maintain high level of expertise with the evolving portfolio of products, services, pricing, competition, market and industry trends.
* Be responsible for developing and implementing the annual marketing plan in line with the strategic plan and local budget plan (forecast, launches, pricing, positioning etc).
* Develop marketing campaigns and activities to support the sales team in achieving the sales growth targets.
* Liaise with third party marketing providers / marketing agencies to ensure compliant high quality marketing materials. Active knowledge of procedures and principles prescribed by the company and by the legislation and their application in communications towards customers.
* Coordinate the development and implementation of new local websites for the Benelux.
* Participation in relevant trainings / courses and/or congresses.
* Interaction with international Veterinarian Associations as well as with specialized veterinarians/PHD’s of Vet Universities and laboratories.
* Support the implementation of a new CRM system in close collaboration with the Sales Manager.
* Support Pharmacovigilance and provide support to customers on this regard.
