Make your mark for patients We are looking for an Analytical Scientist who is curious, meticulous and motivated to join our Physico Chemical Analytics team, based in our UCB cus in Braine lAlleud, Belgium. About The Role You will strengthen our Physico Chemical Analytics group, contributing to the analytical development of our small and large molecules pipeline. Your work will support projects entering pre clinical and clinical phases, leading to commercial registration and launch. Who You Will Work With You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of scientists, engineers, and technicians, exploring new approaches to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of our analytical methods. What You Will Do Develop and validate analytical methods according to Quality by Design (QbD) principles. Drive a matrix team of analysts for effective project outcomes. Support Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) and Drug Product process development initiatives. Explore technical and bibliographical publications to inform your work. Transfer analytical methods to CDMOs (Contract Development Manufacturing Organisations), Quality Control (QC), and manufacturing units. Document all technical work performed in the laboratory meticulously. Interested? For this role, we are looking for the following education, experience, and skills Masters degree with 5 years of experience in a relevant scientific discipline. Hands on experience with analytical instruments and demonstrated laboratory motivation. Expertise in developing analytical methods in a regulated pharmaceutical environment. Knowledge of key analytical techniques such as chromatography and electrophoresis. Understanding of regulatory frameworks, GMP, and safety environments.
