You will join the newly formed Western Europe Cluster (Belgium, France, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands) and work in a dynamic, multicultural team.
What you will be doing
Accurately forecast inventory levels to meet sales demand whilst minimizing inventory holding costs within the SCM cluster Western Europe. Ensure the supply of inventory to meet sales demand across Belgium, Netherlands, France and Luxembourg. Supervise and manage the Demand and Supply Planning team (x2 Demand Planners across the cluster).
Some of your tasks and responsibilities include:
* Lead, manage and evolve the S&OP process within the Central Western Europe cluster.
* Effective stakeholder management to ensure an aligned forecast exists across Sales, Marketing and Supply Chain, including visibility and tracking of Risk and Ops.
* Drive visibility and improvement in KPI’s such as Forecast Accuracy.
* Develop an unconstrained but realistic rolling 18 month forecast across the cluster.
* Analyze inventory requirements and develop an accurate inventory forecast.
* Balance inventory holdings with availability to meet demand plans, including phase in and out products and reduction of slow and non-movers.
* Drive cross-functional collaboration to reduce complexity e.g. Portfolio Management.
* Manage the supply of goods including the transfer of inventory between distribution centres (where applicable).
* Identify, manage & communicate supply constraints across the cluster.
* Contribute to the definition of demand & supply planning parameters and ensure their maintenance.
* People management and effective staff utilization across the cluster.
* Support in further supply chain tasks across the cluster and broader North West Europe Region as required.

The Demand and Supply Planning Manager we are looking for
* Bachelor or Master in supply chain/logistics/economics, or corresponding work experience.
* At least 3 years of experience in demand and supply planning.
* SAP experience is a plus.
* Good supply chain understanding including S&OP and demand planning.
* Strong analytical skills.
* Good stakeholder management skills.
* Good IT understanding.
* Process and end-to-end thinking.
* Fluency in English and good communication skills adaptable for all organizational levels.
