Position Overview:
The HR Manager at our food manufacturing facility is responsible for overseeing all human resource functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance with labor laws, training, compensation, benefits, and safety. The role involves collaborating with management to align HR strategies with business objectives, ensuring a high performing, engaged workforce that adheres to the companys values and regulations within the food manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Staffing:
* Manage the full recruitment process from sourcing to hiring for various positions within the facility.
* Post job ads, conduct interviews, and facilitate onboarding for new employees.
* Collaborate with department heads to forecast staffing needs and ensure workforce availability.
Employee Relations:
* Act as a liaison between management and employees, resolving conflicts, grievances, and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
* Foster a positive work environment through effective communication, employee engagement initiatives, and maintaining company culture.
* Ensure consistent application of company policies and procedures.
Training and Development:
* Develop and implement training programs, including new employee orientation, job specific training, safety protocols, and compliance with food safety regulations.
* Identify opportunities for continuous professional development to enhance employee skills and performance.
* Monitor the effectiveness of training programs and adjust as necessary.
Compliance and Legal:
* Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local labor laws, including health and safety regulations specific to food manufacturing.
