About the Analyst Intern Position:
We seek master’s students with quantitative research experience working towards a degree in economics, econometrics, statistics, finance, mathematics, physics, epidemiology or a related subject who are passionate about using data and analytics to solve the economic, financial, and business challenges our clients face. Analyst Interns in the Brussels office will be part of a local team of diverse background and have the opportunity to collaborate other offices in London, Paris, Montreal, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Los Angeles, Menlo Park, New York, San Francisco, Washington DC and Beijing. As an Intern Analyst, you will have direct impact on casework in various practice areas and industries from the first day of your internship. The opportunity will give you a sense of what it is like to be an economic consultant at Analysis Group.
The areas of learning may include:
1. Analyzing economic, financial, and healthcare data using statistical programs such as R, Stata and other programs
2. Developing data analyses using statistical methods and analytical tools including econometric estimation of models, survival analysis, and machine learning
3. Creating dynamic visualizations to rapidly explore data and models
4. Examining market and industry behavior through targeted research
5. Reviewing and summarizing academic papers, reports and client documents
