Role Purpose
As an Sales Account Manager you will continue to evolve in becoming an expert in your chosen sales specialism and will become more independently responsible for developing and growing an account base within your designated territory. You will become more advanced in your ability to identify, qualify and deliver to more sophisticated client needs that will require a more service orientated solution.
Working as an Sales AM you will be introduced to a more advance sales qualification framework, and learn how to develop, nurture and sustain highly valuable senior level relationships. Furthermore, you will be introduced to and start learning about our TEKsystems Global Services (TGS) processes and delivery frameworks. Becoming successful within the Sales AM role will support your development and advancement into our Services business.
Experience Required
* Ability to use market insights to identify and analyse areas of growth within your market, as well as identifying key decision makers within accounts to drive new business
* Ability to create a clear and effective strategy to break new accounts and build strong footprint
* Understands the importance or solving core issues by looking deeper than symptomatic challenges by identifying root causes
* Can create clear plan of action to navigate the complex nature of higher value opportunities that require multiple stakeholders to determine and agree best course of action
* Acts as a confident and consultative advisory partner to shape and influence client decision-making
* Act as a market leading expert and use your expertise to add value to the client and create additional business opportunities (new and existing)
* Ability to conduct more advanced levels of conversations with clients in relation to various key phases of business qualification
* Consistently achieves daily and weekly sales standard goals by keeping an organised operating rhythm
* Demonstrates consistent discipline of high activity and effort in foundational sales activities (account planning, calls, meetings, business qualification & execution) without giving up during challenging times
* Act as a mentor to team members with informal on the job training to help develop team members both personally and professionally
