Job description:
As Analysis Engineer, you work in the Special analysis team that focusses on a range of engineering simulation techniques as well as material research activities.
Through your detailed analysis and calculations, you support the broader engineering department consisting of development, design and system engineering groups and a test lab team.
You report your findings and in collaboration with the development engineer you determine necessary measures and iterate towards solutions and further analysis.
For this open vacancy we are looking for a person with a strong interest and affinity in the fields of FEA & CFD.
Your specific tasks include:
1. FE analysis from single mechanical components to integrated systems. There is a large range of possible study fields: strength & deflection evaluation, dynamic behavior, thermal and magnetic behavior, etc. Main simulation tool is Abaqus.
2. CFD simulations with the main focus on gearbox oil management, cooling and thermal analysis. Main simulation tool is Particleworks.
About you:
3. You have a Master degree in Industrial / Automotive / Electro-Mechanics Engineering or equivalent engineering degree.
4. You are strong in analytics and problem solving and you possess a critical mindset.
5. Experience with Abaqus/FEA is a strong plus.
6. You are good at modelling physical events.
7. You are fluent in English, Dutch is a plus.
8. You are able to work independently.
