Job Description
We are recruiting a Local IT Technician to solve customer support issues on-site, at our customer's premises.
You will be responsible for providing local support for all on-site employees, and you will work with a team of skilled and motivated technicians!
We are looking for an extremely proactive IT technician with a keen interest in technology, who is able to make suggestions for improvements and offer an opinion on new products or services.
Responsibilities:
* Operate a walk-up 'Performance Bar' in the client office, resolving issues in real-time;
* Support of;
o Windows 10/11 and Apple OS/X devices.
o iOS, Android and Windows phones
o iPads and Windows tablets
o Hardware peripherals
o Microsoft Office Suites (13/16/0365) on Windows and Mac
o AV/VC and networking equipment
o Off the shelf and bespoke software applications;
* Use of the client's ITSM tool, Service-Now to create, update and resolve Incident and Request records;
* Perform Installs, moves, adds, changes (IMAC);
* Assist with user/team relocations - and/or office refit/expansion/closures;
* Security Equipment support
* Network gear support;
* Miscellaneous equipment support including:
* Display equipment;
* UPS equipment;
* Generators;
* AV and VC equipment;
* Peripherals;
* Personal devices
Job Requirements:
* Availability to cover full time Night-shift (weekdays 22:00 - 6:00)
* Very strong sense of customer service (this is a customer-facing role)
* Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills in English and Dutch
* Ability to resolve Windows 10 and OS X Operating System Issues and Errors
* Basic Network troubleshooting skills and knowledge (mainly Cisco)
* Proficient in the latest Microsoft Office Applications (2013 and higher)
* Customer infrastructure support (wiring and connectivity)
* Technical degree or equivalent experience
* Some experience with support and administration of telephones (PBX system and/or VoIP system).
