What the job is about:
Do you want to tackle and understand business problems and translate them into software solutions? Then read further to find out if this role as a business analyst within one of the product teams is for you.
Within this role, you will play a pivotal role in the development and enhancement of leasing and fleet management products and will impact the digitization of the sector.
You will work closely with the Product Owner, Scrum Master, the cross-functional development team, and solution architects to ensure that product features and enhancements align with business objectives and meet the needs of customers.
Your responsibilities will be:
1. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into generic product features.
2. Provide and document detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows for all product requirements while keeping technical feasibility in mind.
3. Assist the Product Owner in managing and prioritizing the product backlog.
4. Participate in scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, review, and retrospectives.
5. Communicate with stakeholders, ensuring alignment, updating stakeholders with progress, changes, and providing reports.
6. Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies that could enhance the products.
Your skills and interest:
Communication skills are important. You’ll interact with internal and external stakeholders, who will all need a different approach in terms of communication. Knowing how to be persuasive when selling an idea and how to correctly push back on others to guard scope and make sure the generic product is considered will also be valuable.
Skills necessary for the job:
1. 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
2. Good understanding of Scrum methodology and Agile practices.
3. Experience with modern web application design and understanding of APIs and web services.
4. Affinity with enterprise software development & architecture.
5. Knowledge of process modeling languages.
6. Proficiency in using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar.
7. Ability to create clear and concise documentation and user stories, with attention to industry-specific details.
Skills enriching the job:
1. Scrum certification (CSPO, CSM, or equivalent) is a plus.
