The CIO at Vlassenroot Group holds a multifaceted position, encompassing both strategic and operational responsibilities.
Stakeholder Management:
The CIO fosters strong relationships with both internal stakeholders, such as the Country Managers and the executive team (CFO/COO/CEO/CHRO), as well as external partners like vendors and IT service providers. There’s a need to strengthen those relationships. This involves understanding stakeholder needs and expectations, effectively communicating IT initiatives, and managing expectations.
Strategy and Vision:
The CIO plays a pivotal role in defining and implementing Vlassenroot Group's IT strategy and vision for the coming years. This entails identifying technological trends and opportunities, setting long-term goals, and developing a roadmap for IT initiatives that align with business objectives.
People Management:
Provide leadership, coaching, mentoring, and guidance to the IT team members. Enhance capability and ensure ongoing development. Set clear objectives by defining and establishing team performance measures and standards which underpin all objectives. In addition, it’s the responsibility of the CIO to attract, select, and onboard new team members to further expand Vlassenroot Group's IT team. This involves identifying the right skills and talents needed to achieve IT goals and build a high-performance team.
Budget Management:
In this role, the CIO oversees the creation and management of Vlassenroot Group's IT budget. This involves identifying investment needs, prioritizing projects, monitoring expenditures, and reporting financial results to the executive team.
Change Management:
It’s the responsibility of the CIO to facilitate change within the IT team and the broader organization. This includes implementing change initiatives, managing resistance, and ensuring a smooth transition to new processes and systems.
Technical Delivery:
The overall objective of the CIO is to elevate Vlassenroot Group's IT department, positioning IT as a central driver of business strategy and innovation. This involves creating a culture of continuous improvement, amplifying IT's impact on the organization, and fostering growth and development within the IT team.
Profile
Education:
Degree (BSc) preferably in Computer Science, Engineering.
Experience and Requirements:
* Experience in manufacturing environments and IT systems, with a strong focus on ERP MS Dynamics F&O.
* Proven success of implementation in a production-driven company understanding well the production, engineering, change management.
* Understanding of business area strategic goals, processes, and workflow.
* Experience with working in a global environment, including regular travel to the different offices in Germany and Poland. Once a month for several days at a time.
* Analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and plan work to meet objectives.
