What will you be doing?
As a Senior Risk Consultant, you’ll be at the forefront of helping organizations navigate complex risk landscapes, ensuring their strategies and operations align with their goals. Partnering with seasoned professionals, you‘ll be working on several risks related products such as Internal Audit, Internal Control reinforcement, Third party Assurance & Risk Management. You will be working from the La Hulpe office in a team of 10 people being part of the Risk Advisory department (50 people in Belgium).
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with clients to identify strategic and operational risks, gaining a deep understanding of their unique contexts.
* Assess clients' control environments through interviews, workshops, document analysis, and propose actionable improvements.
* Execute & report on risk-based internal audits, providing clients with practical, value-driven advice.
* Manage multiple concurrent projects with transparency, ensuring timely delivery and clear communication.
* Serve as a mentor and trusted advisor to junior team members, empowering them to excel.
* Drive innovation by introducing fresh ideas in project execution and product development.
* Deliver strategic insights through enterprise risk management exercises, shaping clients’ decision-making processes.
What do you bring to the table?
* Educational Background: Master’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Economics, Management, Finance, or a related field.
* Experience: 2–5 years of experience in risk management, internal audit, Internal Control, External Audit or a similar field.
* Skills & Expertise:
o Familiarity with risk standards (COSO, ISO 31000, Basel III) and internal audit frameworks (CIA).
o Strong analytical and facilitation abilities to guide clients effectively.
o A passion for improving organizational decision-making by embedding risk considerations.
o Capacity to demonstrate leadership, autonomy and animate client’s workshop & presentation.
* Language Proficiency: Excellent command of French and English; Dutch is an asset.
* Mindset: Ownership-driven, entrepreneurial, and willing to go the extra mile when needed.
* Flexibility: Eager to travel (Europe and outside) when needed and adapt to diverse client contexts.
