Job Description
Role Overview:
The Service Delivery Manager is responsible for expanding the network with new antennas and cell sites to improve coverage and capacity. This includes identifying and acquiring suitable locations, obtaining necessary permits and architectural drawings, and coordinating the construction and integration of the sites. The role requires close collaboration with external partners as well as internal reporting.
Responsibilities:
* Follow up on full turnkey rollout
* Collaboration with Partners: Work closely with external vendors for the execution of activities, including lease agreements
* Reporting: Report on project progress, including status updates and financial reports
* Acceptance Processes: Manage acceptance processes to ensure all new sites meet quality standards within set deadlines
* Financial Forecasting: Perform financial forecasting and budgeting, and report to the finance department
Requirements & Qualifications:
* Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in telecom roll-out and deployment
* Technical Knowledge: Experience with the acquisition and construction of telecom sites, and knowledge of Flemish, Brussels, and Walloon regulations (e.g., building/environmental permits)
* Construction & Integration: Good understanding of construction and integration-related prerequisites and activities
* Logistics: Manage logistical processes, including placing orders and ensuring the correct delivery of hardware
* Operational Processes: Understand and manage operational processes, including quality management and collaboration with technical vendors
* Education: A relevant technical or business degree is a plus

* Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders
* Decision-Making: Ability to make decisions and moderate in complex situations
* Financial Skills: Experience with financial forecasting and budgeting
* Operational Insight: Understanding of operational processes and quality management
Nice-to-have Skills:
* Technical Affinity: Affinity with technical components and networks, and a good understanding of radio and transmission processes
* Certifications: PMI or PRINCE2 certification (not required but a plus)
Soft Skills:
* Stakeholder Management: Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with various stakeholders
* Patience and Perseverance: Determination to achieve goals, even in the face of setbacks
* Energetic and Driven: Motivation and energy to successfully complete projects
* Local Availability: Candidates must be locally available and able to be regularly present at the office. Candidates not based in Belgium are not eligible.
