Junior Accountant - Responsibilities As an Internal Accountant, you will:
* Process, validate, and ensure timely payment of incoming and outgoing invoices.
* Record and review all accounting transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
* Reconcile accounts and address discrepancies to maintain precise financial records.
* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
* Draft and submit VAT declarations in full compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Monitor and manage taxes specific to the banking sector.
* Contribute to the preparation of annual financial statements and reports.
* Ensure accurate and timely publication of accounts in compliance with legal obligations.
* Maintain well-organized and accurate accounting records for audit readiness and internal use.
* Stay informed on regulatory changes in accounting and taxation to ensure process compliance.
* Collaborate with internal departments to resolve accounting-related issues and support decision-making.
Junior Accountant - Your Profile:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Fluency in French (oral and written) and good knowledge of English. Dutch is an advantage.
* A first year of experience or internship in accounting, ideally in banking sector.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office ( especially Excel). Knowledge of Luxembourg accounting standards, VAT regulations, and banking accounting practices is essential.
* Strong organizational and analytical skills.
* Attention to detail, autonomy, and adaptability.
* Team-oriented with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
* Proactive problem-solving approach.
