As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Payroll Officer to join our HR team and play a key role in ensuring seamless payroll and benefits administration across multiple regions.
Job Summary
As a Payroll Officer, you will be the go-to person for employees regarding payroll and benefits inquiries in your assigned regions. You will ensure payroll accuracy, compliance with local regulations, and the correct use of HR tools. Reporting to the Compensation and Reward Manager, you will collaborate with internal teams, payroll providers, and external partners to maintain a smooth payroll operation.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and process accurate and timely monthly payroll for assigned regions.
* Manage employee benefits, including group insurance, health insurance, bonuses, bike leases, and meal/eco vouchers.
* Coordinate work accident follow-ups in collaboration with the prevention advisor.
* Work closely with payroll providers and external partners to streamline payroll and benefits processes.
* Ensure compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies.
* Address and resolve employee inquiries regarding payroll, time tracking, and benefits professionally and promptly.
* Maintain and update HR tools related to payroll, performance management, and time registration.
* Generate payroll-related reports for Fike Corporation, work councils, and government agencies.
* Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to foster a positive work environment.
* Support and participate in HR and payroll-related projects as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
Required:
✅ Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Human Resources, Finance, or a related field.
✅ Minimum of 5 years of payroll processing experience.
✅ Experience working with HR information systems and payroll software.
✅ Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, social legislation, and labor laws.
✅ Proficiency in Microsoft Word/Google Docs and Excel/Google Sheets.
✅ Fluent in Dutch and English (both written and verbal).
✅ Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently.
Preferred:
✔️ Experience with international European payroll.
✔️ Knowledge of additional European languages.
✔️ Familiarity with time and attendance tracking tools.
